An adventurous family session.

Mermaid Maternity
An adventurous water based 'mermaid' maternity session.

Extended Family
A special session celebrating your wonderful extended family. During your session we will be able to capture your whole family as well as individual and smaller group photos. For groups larger than immediate family (eg more than 2 parents and their children).

Remember the home movie days? Where mum or dad had the big cam corder and captured the little moments? Then years later you all sat down to watch them back? Imagine being able to look back in 10 years at your own family moving, laughing, talking and playing together.

What a beautiful time in your life. Captured in a documentary style, the perfect and imperfect moments all documented for you to look back on for years to come.

What are the next steps?
Send me an email at anitaalicephoto@outlook.com or a DM on Instagram @anita.alice.photography. Please ensure you have my email address saved to your contacts to avoid it going to junk, I will usually reply within 48 hours.
Once you get in contact we will discuss dates, locations and what you are looking for from your session. If you decide that we are a perfect fit, a deposit of $200 is required to secure your date. From here you will receive my Contract, Questionnaire and Invoice.
From here we will get to work planning your session. If you are looking to get creative, we will brainstorm and come up with a concept that suits you and your style. You will also have access to my client wardrobe and will be able to discuss the outfit goals for your session.
What is your turnaround time?
I will endeavour to have your images to you within 3 weeks however in peak periods this may be up to 4-5 weeks. A timeframe will be communicated to you prior to your session. Family film turnaround times are generally 6-8 weeks.
I am currently a part time photographer and full time mother to four little humans, with little kids at home full time. If you require a faster turnaround, please don't hesitate to get in touch so we can discuss your requirements.
Do we get to pick our photos?
Yes! I will provide you with an online link to your gallery which will include approximately 80+ photos. From here you will be able to pick the amount of photos that you have chosen in your package. If you cant choose, you are always able to upgrade to a full gallery.
Which package do I choose? Can I upgrade later?
It is totally up to you which package you choose. Some people like the whole album, others are happy with a handful of photos. If you can't decide, I recommend going for the smallest package and once you receive your gallery you can upgrade to a higher package if necessary.
Do you have a client wardrobe?
Yes! I have a large selection of predominantly dresses (50+ options), to make you feel fabulous during your session. I also have some great recommendations for brands to hire or purchase from if I don't have what you are looking for. Get in touch to see what I have to offer.
Do you require a deposit?
A $200 deposit is required within 48 hours to secure your date.
Do you share all of your sessions online?
Many of my sessions do not appear online. I respect your privacy and will not share anything against your wishes. When we organise a session, you will sign a Contract which includes a provision for a model release. This allows me to share photos. If you do not wish for me to share your images please let me know prior to your session. You will also be able to detail any requests in your client Questionnaire for example if you want to select the photos that you permit to be shared. We will always discuss what works best for you. I will always censor nudity unless requested otherwise.
If permitted, I am always grateful to be able to share your images in this content driven world.
Where should we have our session?
I always recommend a location that has some significance for you. If you don't have a particular location in mind we can discuss the feel you want for your shoot. Different locations will produce a different style of photo. Naturally photos on a white sandy beach may be brighter, on dark sand they may appear more moody. Due to these differences, it is important that we discuss what you would like to achieve from your photos. If in doubt, your home is always a great choice.
What do we wear?
I am happy to discuss outfit options with you once we book your session.
I recommend going with similar tones and shades when picking your outfits. Neutrals and earthy tones usually work the best together and definitely suit the beautiful Australian landscape.
Alternatively, if you are having a session at home, I recommend wearing clothes that represent you. Sure, neutrals look great, however if that isn't a true representation of your family, I would recommend against that! Wear what you love!
Do you travel?
I am located in the Redlands, on the bayside of Brisbane and I am available to travel to Stradbroke Island (just cover the cost of the bus & ferry), the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and regional QLD.
Travel within 25km of Brisbane (4157) is included in your package.
For distances outside of this region and within 1.5 hours, a small $50 travel fee applies. Distances further than 1.5 hours please get in touch so I can quote you on travel costs. I am also available to travel interstate and internationally. All that is required is for my travel costs and accommodation to be covered. Please send me an email so we can discuss your requirements.
